Not noisy at all. He is the perfect species for any home but they are clowns for attention and have curious brains that wont stop investigating items. Sadly, they are currently disappearing fast in the wild and in captivity due to little media exposure . Therfore breeding your Illiger is recommended by myself and encouraged by aviculturists as well.
That is a great video with good tips. Out of curiosity do you think mini macaws are more difficult to care for then say green cheeked conures? Of course all parrots require a healthy diet and require people to be vigilant of any toxins or chemicals that could kill them for example.

ReplyDeleteThey're louder and require more space, their diets would include more unsalted nuts so it may cost a little more as well.
